Although she has been modeling for SCORE since 2004, Joana was always something of a girl of mystery. It's difficult to attribute Joana's longevity as a photo model to her personal activities and belief system but they may be the reason she has been so popular for so long.
"I do a lot of spiritual things like meditation and yoga. Every day I do something like that. I enjoy it. My connection to spiritual life began when I was 16. I was in school. I felt something good happen with me, and a very good friend of mine taught me about yoga, and I started to practice. I do two hours of yoga positions and meditation a day, but if I'm busy, I just do meditation. I practice Hatha yoga, which focuses on physical and mental strength."
